🧭 Types of Notifications

PeakMetrics offers three types of notifications, each supporting different use cases and levels of insight:

1. 📰 New Mentions Discovered

What it does: Get alerted when your workspace detects new content that matches your queries, helping you stay current with developing conversations. Why it matters: Staying on top of new mentions ensures you’re never blindsided by breaking developments, media hits, or sudden changes in public discourse. These alerts keep you connected to the conversations that shape perception, policy, or reputation—especially when speed matters most.

2. 🌐 New Narratives Discovered

What it does: Receive updates when a new narrative—a cluster of related mentions with shared themes—emerges in your workspace. Why it matters: New narratives help you detect the formation of public discourse—not just isolated mentions. This gives you a strategic edge by surfacing storylines while they’re still bubbling beneath the surface. Early visibility into emerging themes allows you to track how conversations evolve—whether they represent an opportunity, a potential risk, or a shift in framing that could impact your brand, policy landscape, or key stakeholders.

3. 📬 Workspace Summary

What it does: Automatically receive AI-generated summaries of key developments in your workspace over a selected time frame. Why it matters: These summaries distill the noise into clear, actionable insights—perfect for weekly briefings, executive updates, or quick alignment across teams. They highlight the most important trends, risks, and shifts, saving you time while keeping everyone informed and focused.
