# Exporting Data

> Exporting data from PeakMetrics allows you to perform in-depth analysis outside of the platform.

## PeakMetrics data gives you the flexibility to

* **Customize Analysis**: Apply your own models, filters, and metrics.

* **Visualize Trends**: Use external tools like Excel, Tableau, or Python for data visualization.

* **Share Insights**: Provide detailed reports to stakeholders and decision-makers.

* **Combine Data Sources**: Merge PeakMetrics data with internal datasets for a more comprehensive view.

## Available Fields in PeakMetrics Data Export

When exporting data, PeakMetrics provides a structured dataset with various metadata fields across multiple categories. Below is a breakdown of these fields and their significance:

### Primary Fields

Field Definition   **Title** Headline or title of the article or post.   **Publication** Name of the media outlet or platform.   **Authors** Names of the individuals who wrote the content.   **Publish Date** Date the content was published.   **URL** Web link to the original content.   **Snippet** A brief excerpt or summary of the content.

### Social Fields

Field Definition   **Subreddit** Name of the subreddit where the post was shared.   **Subreddit Subscribers** Number of subscribers to the subreddit.   **YouTube Username** Username of the YouTube content creator.   **Twitter Follower Count** Number of followers of the Twitter account.

### Favorability Fields

Field Definition   **Favorable** Content is supportive or positive in tone towards an entity.   **Unfavorable** Content is critical or negative in tone towards an entity.   **Neutral** Content is neutral or balanced in tone towards an entity.

Category Field Definition   Metrics Fields **Reach** Estimated number of people who viewed the content.

### Domain List Fields

Field Definition   **Similar Messaging** Identifies recurring narratives across different sources.   **Bot Detection** Flags content suspected of being generated by bots.

Category Field Definition   Smart Categories Fields **Custom** Custom tags based on your prompts.

## How to Export Data from PeakMetrics

Exporting data from PeakMetrics is simple and can be done in just a few steps:

1. Within your Mentions tab, you can load the articles you'd like to export. Use the tick box to select the results that you would like to export. If you would like to see all mentions in your workspace, click on "Select All Mentions in this Workspace" button.

Select the **Export**icon in the top right:

You can**rename your export** and **select the fields** that you'd like to include in your CSV:

There are no limits on exports.
